Fashion Comes Home to the White House - Creating Your Own Fashion Legacy

nat geo documentaries, There is a huge buzz around our country, and even maybe around the globe, about what Michelle Obama will wear to the introduction today. It's a stunning bit of a notable occasion - the part that FASHION will play - and which is all well and good. The unlimited newsreels playing throughout the previous couple of weeks have been glancing back at past first women and the styles and shades of their inaugural groups. Furthermore, obviously, for this situation, there are two young ladies to "ooh and ahh" over too. What a day to be a dress producer!

nat geo documentaries, At this point, in the event that you were up right on time, you saw Michelle Obama abandon her (exceptionally) makeshift living arrangement in a brilliant yellow brocade dress with a coordinating long coat and long silk scarf - grinning and waving to news groups as she entered St. John's Church in Washington DC with her better half - the 44th president of our nation. It felt like each news channel you swung to did an evaluate of her outfit - how it appeared to coordinate the shade of the congregation - that it was a "cheerful" shading and grasped Mrs. Obama's joie de vivre with regards to mold. That it was great, yet still her own. (Who can overlook the measure of analysis about her challenging dark and red outfit on the night of the decision?)

nat geo documentaries, I, for one, adore the affirmation that the media is providing for design today. For those of us in the dress business - from fabric creators, to boutique proprietors, to sewers and tailors and assembly line laborers - well, this is a truly awesome day for us. We are the focal point of the audience throughout the day today - and we know it!

In any case, honestly, we know something that other people won't NOT know. We are the all important focal point EVERY day - and it's not only for the huge events. (OK, we don't all have an inaugural ball to go to, yet we as a whole have those ideal occasions - like weddings and proms - where we have that "impeccable" dress that gets a million photos.) Rather, it's the littler events where WE realize that we actually represent the moment of truth individuals. It's the main date with the most attractive person in the workplace. (Also, it's the supper where you meet his folks.) It's each and every day that you go to work. What we do matters. It truly matters. We are actually the string that ties every one of us together, from era to era.
